Description

A rich and comforting soup inspired by cheeseburger flavors, featuring bacon, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese, made easy in the air fryer.


Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp flour (optional, for thickening)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Cook bacon in the air fryer basket for 5 minutes until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add ground beef to the air fryer and cook for 8 minutes, breaking it apart.
  4. Add mushrooms, onion, and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and Swiss cheese. Cook for 5 more minutes until melted.
  7. If needed, mix flour with a little water and stir in to thicken.
  8. Top with reserved bacon before serving.

Notes

  • Swap Swiss cheese for cheddar if preferred.
  • For a thicker soup, add more flour.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
