Description
A spicy and sweet cornbread made in the air fryer for Thanksgiving, featuring jalapeños for heat and a sweet lime honey drizzle.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 2 jalapeños, diced
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tbsp lime juice
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
- Mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
- Whisk milk, melted butter, and egg in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Stir in diced jalapeños.
- Pour batter into a greased pan that fits in your air fryer.
- Air fry for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Mix honey and lime juice. Drizzle over warm cornbread.
