Description
Crispy and flavorful tofu nuggets made in an air fryer. A healthy alternative to traditional chicken nuggets.
Ingredients
- 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed and drained
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Cut tofu into bite-sized cubes.
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
- Toss tofu cubes in soy sauce, then coat with the cornstarch mixture.
- Dip tofu in breadcrumbs, ensuring even coverage.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly spray tofu with olive oil.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Press tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess moisture.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For extra crispiness, spray tofu lightly with oil before air frying.
