Description

Crispy and flavorful tofu nuggets made in an air fryer. A healthy alternative to traditional chicken nuggets.


Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed and drained
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Cut tofu into bite-sized cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Toss tofu cubes in soy sauce, then coat with the cornstarch mixture.
  4. Dip tofu in breadcrumbs, ensuring even coverage.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Lightly spray tofu with olive oil.
  7. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Press tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess moisture.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • For extra crispiness, spray tofu lightly with oil before air frying.
