Description

Crispy tofu sticks coated with Parmesan and breadcrumbs, cooked in an air fryer for a healthier twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed and cut into sticks
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Dip tofu sticks in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Lightly spray or brush tofu sticks with olive oil.
  5. Place tofu sticks in air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve warm with marinara sauce.

Notes

  • Press tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess water.
  • For extra crispiness, spray tofu lightly with oil before cooking.
