Description
Crispy tofu sticks coated with Parmesan and breadcrumbs, cooked in an air fryer for a healthier twist.
Ingredients
- 1 block (14 oz) firm tofu, pressed and cut into sticks
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Dip tofu sticks in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Lightly spray or brush tofu sticks with olive oil.
- Place tofu sticks in air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve warm with marinara sauce.
Notes
- Press tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess water.
- For extra crispiness, spray tofu lightly with oil before cooking.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
