Description
A delicious vegan cheese ball made in an air fryer, perfect for parties or snacks.
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw cashews (soaked overnight)
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (for coating)
Instructions
- Drain the soaked cashews and blend them in a food processor until smooth.
- Add nutritional yeast, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and smoked paprika. Blend until creamy.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl and fold in the chopped parsley.
- Shape the mixture into a ball and roll it in chopped walnuts to coat.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the cheese ball in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes until slightly firm.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Soak cashews overnight for a smoother texture.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with crackers or vegetable sticks.
