Description
Crispy vegan mac-and-cheese sticks made in an air fryer for a quick and delicious snack.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 1 cup vegan cheese shreds
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Mix cooked macaroni, vegan cheese, and nutritional yeast in a bowl.
- Spread the mixture in a lined dish and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Cut into sticks and coat with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Brush with olive oil and air fry at 375°F for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
Notes
- Use firm vegan cheese for best results.
- Refrigerate the mixture to make cutting easier.
- Serve with vegan ranch or marinara sauce.
