Description

Crispy, golden vegan mozzarella sticks made in an air fryer. A delicious plant-based snack that’s easy to prepare and perfect for dipping.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup vegan mozzarella shreds
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup plant-based milk
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water


Instructions

  1. Mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry.
  2. Dip vegan mozzarella shreds in the slurry, then coat with flour.
  3. Dip in plant-based milk, then coat with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
  4. Freeze coated sticks for 15 minutes.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Place sticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 6-8 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Serve immediately with marinara sauce.
