Description
A simple yet flavorful sandwich combining the sharpness of blue cheese with the sweetness of pears.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of whole wheat bread
- 50g blue cheese, crumbled
- 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 handful arugula
- 1 tsp olive oil
Instructions
- Toast the bread slices lightly.
- Spread olive oil on one side of each slice.
- Layer arugula on one slice.
- Add pear slices and crumbled blue cheese.
- Drizzle honey over the filling.
- Top with the second bread slice.
- Cut in half and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use ripe but firm pears for best texture.
- Substitute arugula with spinach if preferred.
- Add walnuts for extra crunch.
