A delicious and moist bread combining blueberries and cream cheese for a sweet and tangy flavor.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add butter, eggs, vanilla, and sour cream. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in blueberries gently.
- Pour half the batter into the loaf pan.
- Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread over the batter.
- Top with remaining batter. Swirl lightly with a knife.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- Use room temperature ingredients for best results.
- Dust blueberries with flour to prevent sinking.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
