Description
Crispy and flavorful chicken wings coated in a smoky chipotle BBQ sauce, cooked to perfection in an air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken wings
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp chipotle pepper in adobo sauce (minced)
- 1 tsp honey
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat dry chicken wings with paper towels.
- Toss wings with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Place wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook another 10 minutes until crispy.
- Mix BBQ sauce, chipotle pepper, and honey in a bowl.
- Toss cooked wings in the sauce until fully coated.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, pat wings dry thoroughly before seasoning.
- Adjust chipotle pepper for more or less heat.
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing if desired.
