A creamy and delicious chicken mushroom casserole made in the air fryer, perfect for Christmas dinner.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix chicken, mushrooms, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Grease an air fryer-safe dish with olive oil.
- Pour the mixture into the dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
- Place the dish in the air fryer and cook for 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is golden.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.

- Use fresh mushrooms for the best flavor.
- Check the chicken’s internal temperature to ensure it reaches 165°F (74°C).
- You can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
