Description
A quick and delicious Christmas dish combining mussels and pasta, baked in an air fryer for a crispy finish.
Ingredients
- 200g mussels, cleaned and debearded
- 200g pasta (penne or fusilli)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 100ml heavy cream
- 50g grated parmesan
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
- In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add mussels, cream, and parsley. Cook for 3 minutes.
- Mix the pasta with the mussel sauce and transfer to an air fryer-safe dish.
- Sprinkle parmesan on top.
- Air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden and crispy.
Notes
- Use fresh mussels for the best flavor.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
- For extra spice, add a pinch of chili flakes.
