Description
Quick and crispy air fryer fish taco bites ready in just 25 minutes. Perfect for a light meal or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 1 lb white fish fillets (cod or tilapia)
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 8 small tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut fish into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, mix panko, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Beat egg in another bowl.
- Dip fish pieces in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place coated fish in air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with olive oil.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Warm tortillas in the air fryer for 1 minute.
- Assemble tacos: place fish on tortillas, top with cabbage, tomatoes, cilantro, and a drizzle of sour cream.
- Serve with lime wedges.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, lightly spray fish with oil before air frying.
- Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
