Crispy air fryer french fries made with minimal oil and simple ingredients.
Ingredients
- 2 large russet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and cut the potatoes into thin strips.
- Soak the potato strips in cold water for 30 minutes, then pat dry.
- Toss the potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
- Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Soaking the potatoes removes excess starch for crispier fries.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer to ensure even cooking.
