Description
Enjoy crispy and delicious Air Fryer Momo, a healthier version of traditional Tibetan dumplings. Perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 lb ground chicken or tofu for vegetarian
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp minced ginger
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Mix flour and water to make a smooth dough. Rest for 20 minutes.
- Combine ground chicken or tofu, onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper, and cilantro.
- Roll dough into small circles, fill with mixture, and shape into dumplings.
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
- Place momo in the air fryer basket in a single layer, spray lightly with oil.
- Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with dipping sauce.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Spray oil lightly for extra crispiness.
- Use a damp cloth to cover dough to prevent drying.
