Description

Enjoy crispy and delicious Air Fryer Momo, a healthier version of traditional Tibetan dumplings. Perfect as a snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 lb ground chicken or tofu for vegetarian
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro


Instructions

  1. Mix flour and water to make a smooth dough. Rest for 20 minutes.
  2. Combine ground chicken or tofu, onion, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, pepper, and cilantro.
  3. Roll dough into small circles, fill with mixture, and shape into dumplings.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
  5. Place momo in the air fryer basket in a single layer, spray lightly with oil.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
  • Spray oil lightly for extra crispiness.
  • Use a damp cloth to cover dough to prevent drying.
