Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into nugget-sized pieces
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix breadcrumbs, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Coat chicken pieces in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place nuggets in air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, and cook another 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
  6. Whisk maple syrup, soy sauce, and liquid smoke in a small bowl.
  7. Toss cooked nuggets in the glaze and serve immediately.
