Description
Crispy, juicy breaded chicken breast cooked quickly in an air fryer for a healthier meal.
Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
- Whisk egg and milk in another bowl.
- Dip each chicken breast in the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mix.
- Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with olive oil.
- Place chicken in the air fryer and cook for 12 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crispiness.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- If chicken is thick, extend cooking time by 2-3 minutes.
