Description

Juicy and crispy whole wheat chicken tenders made in the air fryer. A healthier alternative to traditional fried chicken, perfect for a quick meal or snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup whole wheat breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dredge each tender in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Lightly spray or brush the air fryer basket with olive oil.
  5. Arrange the coated tenders in a single layer in the air fryer.
  6. Cook for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for another 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
