Description
Crispy and juicy chicken nuggets made in the air fryer for a healthier alternative to deep-fried nuggets.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp milk
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk the egg and milk.
- Dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Place the coated nuggets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
