A simple and quick recipe for making Chinese chive pancakes in an air fryer. These crispy and flavorful pancakes are perfect as a snack or side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup chopped Chinese chives (or scallions)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
Instructions
- Mix flour, water, and salt in a bowl to form a smooth dough.
- Add chopped Chinese chives and knead lightly to combine.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and roll each into a thin circle.
- Brush each pancake with vegetable oil and sesame oil if using.
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
- Place one pancake in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes.
- Flip the pancake and cook for another 3-4 minutes until crispy.
- Repeat with the remaining pancakes.
- Serve warm with dipping sauce.

- Use fresh Chinese chives for the best flavor.
