Description

A simple and quick recipe for making Chinese chive pancakes in an air fryer. These crispy and flavorful pancakes are perfect as a snack or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup chopped Chinese chives (or scallions)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)


Instructions

  1. Mix flour, water, and salt in a bowl to form a smooth dough.
  2. Add chopped Chinese chives and knead lightly to combine.
  3. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and roll each into a thin circle.
  4. Brush each pancake with vegetable oil and sesame oil if using.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
  6. Place one pancake in the air fryer basket and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Flip the pancake and cook for another 3-4 minutes until crispy.
  8. Repeat with the remaining pancakes.
  9. Serve warm with dipping sauce.
