Description
A simple and delicious meatloaf recipe with French onion flavors, cooked in an air fryer or crockpot, and topped with melted Swiss cheese.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 packet French onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F or crockpot on low.
- Mix ground beef, French onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Shape mixture into a loaf and place in air fryer basket or crockpot.
- Cook in air fryer for 25-30 minutes or in crockpot for 4-6 hours.
- Sprinkle Swiss cheese on top and cook until melted, about 2-3 minutes.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for less grease.
- Check internal temperature—meatloaf should reach 160°F.
- For extra flavor, caramelize onions before adding to the mixture.
