A simple and flavorful dish featuring tender chicken thighs marinated in a savory soy garlic sauce.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp green onions, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, sesame oil, ginger, rice vinegar, and black pepper.
- Add chicken thighs to the marinade, coating them evenly. Let sit for 20 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6-7 minutes per side.
- Pour remaining marinade into the pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate chicken for up to 2 hours.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables.
