A quick and easy recipe for spicy pickle chips that you can make at home with simple ingredients.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cucumber slices
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp black peppercorns
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Combine vinegar, water, salt, and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
- Add cucumber slices, red pepper flakes, black peppercorns, and garlic to a clean jar.
- Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the cucumbers.
- Seal the jar and let it cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh cucumbers for best results.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for more or less heat.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
