Description
Golden garlic butter scallops are a quick and delicious seafood dish. The scallops are seared to perfection and coated in a rich garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
- 12 large sea scallops
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Pat the scallops dry with a paper towel.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season scallops with salt and pepper.
- Sear scallops for 2 minutes per side until golden.
- Remove scallops from the pan and set aside.
- Melt butter in the same skillet.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Return scallops to the pan and coat in garlic butter.
- Sprinkle with lemon juice and parsley.
- Serve immediately.

- Use fresh scallops for the best texture.
- Do not overcrowd the pan while searing.
