Description
A high-protein, low-carb pizza alternative made with egg whites as the base. It’s quick to prepare and packed with nutrients.
Ingredients
- 1 cup liquid egg whites
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded low-fat cheese
- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix egg whites, mozzarella, almond flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Spread the mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a thin circle.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until firm.
- Remove from oven, add pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings.
- Bake for another 5-7 minutes until cheese melts.
- Slice and serve.
Notes
- Use parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Adjust toppings based on preference.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
