Description
Crispy air-fried calamari rings with a golden crust and tender inside.
Ingredients
- 1 lb calamari rings, thawed if frozen
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Dip calamari rings in beaten eggs, then coat with flour mixture.
- Dip again in eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Place calamari rings in air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Air fry for 8 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges or dipping sauce.
Notes
- Pat calamari dry before coating for crispier results.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
