Description
Crispy homemade chicken tenders cooked in an air fryer for a healthier alternative to deep frying.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- Mix breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Whisk eggs in another bowl.
- Coat chicken tenders in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Place tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Adjust cooking time based on thickness of tenders.
- For extra crispiness, spray lightly with oil before cooking.
