Description
Crispy homemade french fries made in the air fryer with minimal oil.
Ingredients
- 2 large russet potatoes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Cut potatoes into 1/4-inch thick sticks.
- Soak in cold water for 30 minutes, then pat dry.
- Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
- Cook in batches for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Soaking removes excess starch for crispiness.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Adjust cooking time based on thickness.
