Ingredients

  • 500g boneless chicken, cut into strips
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 capsicum, sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)


Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with ginger paste, garlic paste, black pepper, salt, and cornflour. Let it sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté onions and capsicum for 2 minutes.
  4. Add honey, chilli sauce, soy sauce, and vinegar. Mix well.
  5. Add the fried chicken and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of chilli sauce based on your spice preference.
  • For extra crispiness, double-fry the chicken.
  • Serve with steamed rice or noodles.
