Description
Jamaican-style jerk drumsticks cooked in an air fryer for a crispy, flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- 6 chicken drumsticks
- 2 tbsp jerk seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp ground allspice
- 1/2 tsp ground thyme
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Pat drumsticks dry with paper towels.
- Mix all spices, oil, and soy sauce in a bowl.
- Coat drumsticks evenly with the jerk mixture.
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3 minutes.
- Place drumsticks in air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 12 minutes, flip, then cook another 10-12 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Adjust cayenne for desired heat level.
- For deeper flavor, marinate drumsticks 2-4 hours before cooking.
- Serve with lime wedges and fresh cilantro.
