Description

Crispy Korean gochujang chicken bites made in the air fryer for a quick and flavorful meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp gochujang paste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • Sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Toss chicken pieces in the sauce and let marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Coat marinated chicken with cornstarch.
  5. Lightly spray or toss chicken with cooking oil.
  6. Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  7. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust gochujang amount for preferred spice level.
  • Serve with rice or lettuce wraps.
  • Double the sauce if you prefer extra coating.
