Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 slices bread
- 1 tbsp oil for frying
Instructions
- Cook macaroni and mix with cheese, milk, and butter.
- Spread mac and cheese between two bread slices.
- Dip sandwich in beaten egg.
- Coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Fry in oil until golden brown.
- Cut in half and serve hot.

- Use day-old bread for better texture.
- Let mac and cheese cool slightly before assembling.
