Description
A quick and delicious grilled cheese sandwich with sweet pears and tangy gorgonzola, made crispy in the air fryer.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread (sourdough or whole grain)
- 1/2 pear, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
- 1 tbsp butter, softened
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C) for 3 minutes.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice butter-side down in the air fryer basket.
- Layer pear slices and gorgonzola on the bread.
- Top with the second bread slice, butter-side up.
- Air fry for 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Flip halfway through cooking for even browning.
Notes
- Use firm pears like Bosc or Anjou for best texture.
- Let the sandwich cool 1 minute before cutting to prevent burns.
- For extra flavor, add a drizzle of honey before serving.
