Description

A delicious pressed panini sandwich with crispy bread and melted fillings.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread (ciabatta or sourdough)
  • 2 tbsp butter (softened)
  • 2 slices of cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 4 slices of deli meat (ham, turkey, or chicken)
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1/4 cup sliced vegetables (tomatoes, bell peppers, or onions)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  2. Spread mayonnaise and mustard on the unbuttered sides.
  3. Layer cheese, deli meat, and vegetables on one slice.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Top with the second bread slice, buttered side up.
  6. Preheat a panini press or grill pan.
  7. Cook the sandwich for 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy.
  8. Remove, slice, and serve warm.
