Description
A quick and easy air fryer grilled cheese sandwich with a French onion twist.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (Gruyere or Swiss recommended)
- 1/4 cup caramelized onions
- 1 tbsp butter (softened)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice butter-side down in the air fryer basket.
- Add cheese and caramelized onions.
- Top with the second bread slice, butter-side up.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Flip halfway through for even browning.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use day-old bread for better texture.
- Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model.
