Description

Quick and flavorful grilled shrimp with a zesty chili lime marinade.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 lime, juiced and zested
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, chili powder, cumin, lime juice, lime zest, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread shrimp onto skewers if using wooden ones (soak them first).
  5. Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque.
  6. Garnish with cilantro and serve immediately.
