A delicious fusion of red velvet cake and cheesecake in brownie form.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp red food coloring
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Whisk flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Mix melted butter and sugar in another bowl. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla and food coloring.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Spread batter in the pan.
  5. Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Drop spoonfuls over brownie batter.
  6. Swirl with a knife. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  7. Cool completely before cutting.
