A unique fusion dish combining the creamy texture of risotto with the crispy base of pizza.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Arborio rice
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 pre-made pizza crust
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add Arborio rice and stir for 1-2 minutes.
- Gradually add vegetable broth, stirring constantly until the rice is creamy and cooked.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper.
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Spread tomato sauce on the pizza crust.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
- Spoon the risotto evenly over the pizza.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
- Slice and serve hot.
