Description
A simple and delicious crispy grilled cheese sandwich made with white bread.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of white bread
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place one slice butter-side down in the skillet.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on the bread.
- Top with the second bread slice, butter-side up.
- Cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3 minutes.
- Flip and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese melts.
- Remove from heat and serve hot.
Notes
- Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting.
- Adjust the heat if the bread browns too quickly.
