Description
A quick and healthy salmon dish cooked in an air fryer with a delicious teriyaki glaze.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- 1 green onion, sliced (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil.
- Brush half of the teriyaki mixture over the salmon fillets.
- Place the salmon in the air fryer basket and cook for 8 minutes.
- While the salmon cooks, mix cornstarch and water in a small saucepan.
- Add the remaining teriyaki mixture to the saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened.
- Remove the salmon from the air fryer and brush with the thickened teriyaki glaze.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onion before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh salmon for best results.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of your fillets.
- Serve with steamed rice or vegetables.
