Description
A delicious and easy-to-make crumb cake with pumpkin spice flavor, perfect for fall. Made in an air fryer for a quick and crispy texture.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp pumpkin spice
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (for crumb topping)
- 1/4 cup flour (for crumb topping)
- 2 tbsp cold butter (for crumb topping)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, pumpkin spice, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, pumpkin puree, egg, and melted butter. Stir until combined.
- Pour batter into a greased baking pan that fits inside the air fryer.
- In a separate bowl, make the crumb topping by mixing brown sugar, flour, and cold butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle crumb topping evenly over the batter.
- Place the pan in the air fryer and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Use canned or homemade pumpkin puree.
- Check cake at 20 minutes to avoid overcooking.
- Adjust sweetness by reducing sugar if needed.
